Gustavo Franco

Gustavo Franco is a former President of the Brazilian Central Bank. He was forced to resign in January, 1999 during a currency crisis.

Strong supporter of fixed exchange rates between the Real and the United States dollar.

He was replaced by Chico Lopes.
