Holland Codes are career types created by psychologist John L. Holland [1], [2], [3], [4].

Overview
Holland mapped these types into a hexagon which he then broke down into different job environments :
- Realistic - practical, mechanically inclined, physical, hands-on, tool-oriented
- Investigative - analytical, intellectual, scientific
- Artistic - non-conforming, original, independent, chaotic
- Social - nurturing, supporting, helping, healing
- Enterprising - leadership, persuading, status
- Conventional - detail-oriented, organizing, status
Holland argues that 2-3 types dominate in each person. These types are organized as follows:
