Benedictine University

Benedictine University is a private university located in Lisle, Illinois. It was founded as St. Procopius College in 1887 by the Roman Catholic Order of Saint Benedict. St. Procopius College changed its name to Illinois Benedictine College in 1971, which became Benedictine University in 1996. Benedictine's athletic teams compete at the NCAA Division III level.
