Kurt Tibbetts

Kurt Tibbetts has represented the district of George Town in the Legislative Assembly of the Cayman Islands since 1992. With the People's Progressive Movement victory in the 2005 elections, he became Leader of Government Business.

During 2000-2001 he served as Minister for Planning, Communications and Works and as Leader of Government Business. He is a founding member of the People's Progressive Movement.

Mr. Tibbetts has owned and managed a printing business for over twenty years. Before becoming an elected representative, he participated in community service projects, distinguishing himself during his leadership of the Lions Club.

He is married to Shirley-Ann, and the couple have three children.
