Lagoa (Lagoon, in English) is the way the people from Rio de Janeiro refer to the Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas. It is also the name of the affluent neighbourhood around it. It borders the neighbourhoods of Ipanema, Leblon, Copacabana, Gávea and Jardim Botânico.
