Leinster (IPA: /ˈlɛnstə(r)/</span>; Irish: Laighin or Laigin, IPA: /lainʲ/</span>) is the eastern province of Ireland, comprising the counties of Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Wexford and Wicklow. Leinster is Ireland's most populous province. The traditional flag of Leinster has a golden harp against a green background.
