Brisbane has many beautiful parks and gardens, including:
- Albert Park - is next to Wickham Park, on Wickham Terrace.
Albert Park has an open-air amphitheatre, which used to be called the Albert Park Amphitheatre, and which Albert Park shares with Roma Street Parkland. - Anzac Square - located between Ann Street and Adelaide Street, the park includes Brisbane's Shrine of Remembrance. Anzac Square is near Central Railway Station
- Bowen Park, Brisbane - located in the Brisbane suburb of Bowen Hills, the park, on Bowen Bridge Road, is directly opposite the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
- Brisbane City Botanic Gardens - established in 1855 - located at Alice and George Streets,
the gardens are close to Parliament House and the Queensland University of Technology. - E.E.McCormick Place - located opposite Roma Street Parkland near Brisbane Transit Centre
- Hardgrave Park - located near Normandy Five Ways
- King Edward Park - located between Wickham Terrace and Turbot Street (near The Windmill). There is a very long staircase, called "Jacob's Ladder", which is located down the side of the park.
- King George Square - the Square in front of the Brisbane City Hall.
- Mount Coot-tha Botanic Gardens - includes a tropical hothouse and planetarium
- Musgrave Park - located in South Brisbane
- New Farm Park - located in the Brisbane suburb of New Farm
- Post Office Square - Post Office Square is opposite Brisbane's General Post Office, and takes its name from the GPO. Post Office Square is located between Adelaide Street and Queen Street.
- Queens Gardens - situated between George Street, William Street and Elizabeth Street,
has statues of both Queen Victoria, and Thomas Ryan (a former Premier of Queensland). There is also a Royal Australian Air Force memorial - Roma Street Parkland - adjacent to Brisbane Transit Centre and Roma Street Railway Station, the Roma Street Parkland merges with Albert Park
- South Bank Parklands - founded on the former site of World Expo '88
- Victoria Park - an enormous park, which contains tennis courts, the Centenary swimming pool, a golf course and a sports ground, is located near the Queensland University of Technology Kelvin Grove campus and the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
- Wickham Park - located between Wickham Terrace and Albert Street is next to Albert Park. Wickham Park contains Brisbane's oldest building, The Windmill.
