Madingley is a village on the western outskirts of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. The largest house in the village is Madingley Hall, which was begun in 1546 and is surrounded by parkland. The Hall has been owned by the University of Cambridge since 1948.
The village's former public house, The Three Horseshoes, is now a restaurant.
An cemetery and chapel dedicated to American servicemen opened in 1956, on the southern edge of the village beside the road from Cambridge to St Neots.
Madingley is an affluent village, and is considered a very expensive and desirable location in which to live.
