Mandela and Tambo

Mandela and Tambo was the first black law firm in South Africa. It was started by Nelson Mandela and Oliver Tambo, two prominent members of the African National Congress, in 1953. The firm provided free or low-cost counsel to blacks who would otherwise have had no representation.
