Matt Furey
From Freepedia
Matt Furey is a fitness entrepreneur, promoting DVDs and books for "Politically Incorrect Fitness, Fighting & Maximum Success Instruction."
Furey's book Combat Conditioning teaches "bodyweight calisthenics." The core exercises are called the "Royal Court," based on conditioning exercises used by ancient Indian wrestlers. Individual exercises include Hindu Squats, Hindu Pushups, and the Wrestlers Bridge.
While there are critics who believe Hindu Squats damage the knees, and that Hindu Pushups damage the rotator cuffs, there are also weight trainers who endorse these exercises.
Furey is a former national college champion wrestler and world Kung fu champion.
