The Memorial Union is located on the University of Wisconsin campus. It is located on the shore of Lake Mendota in Madison, Wisconsin. It opened in 1928, and is run by the Wisconsin Union, an alumni organization. Outside the main building is the Memorial Union Terrace, a stone and cement outdoor dining and recreation area on the shore of Lake Mendota.
