Career

Melissa Hiatt was born on October 6, 1963 in Tallahassee, Florida. She became a fan of professional wrestling while watching the Fabulous Freebirds as a teenager. She attended local shows and was what they call a "ring rat", she would leave after the shows with wrestlers to spend the night with them.

The first wrestler she was a "ring rat" for was Tommy Rich. She had a relationship with Jake Roberts for over a year after meeting him and also dated Road Warrior Hawk. In 1984, she met "Hollywood" John Tatum and started dating him. Hyatt rumored to have also dated Gino Hernandez at one point in her early wrestling days.

Her pro wrestling career began when Fritz Von Erich of WCCW put her with Tatum as his manager in 1985. She was named Missy Hyatt and was a whiney, spoiled brat character and the fans hated her. She feuded with Sunshine and this culminated in a mud match between the two at the "Parade of Champions" on May 4, 1986 in Irving, Texas.

Hyatt and Tatum soon left for the Universal Wrestling Federation where Tatum continued to team with Jack Victory. Eddie Gilbert was the leader of "Hot Stuff International" that included Sting and Rick Steiner. Hyatt formed an alliance with his group that was called "Hyatt/Hot Stuff International". It wasn't long before Hyatt and Gilbert started an affair that caused problems with Tatum. She soon left Tatum for Gilbert in 1987 and they split up onscreen as well. She married Gilbert in 1988. Around this time, Missy had a brief run in the WWF as the host of "Missy's Manor". It did not go well so she went back to Gilbert in the UWF. She also feuded with Dark Journey for awhile in the UWF.

In 1987, when the UWF was purchased by the NWA's Jim Crockett Promotions, Missy and Eddie came along. Missy was used as a commentator and then eventually as the manager for Gilbert, Scott and Rick Steiner.

She left briefly for the Continental Wrestling Federation where she managed Tom Prichard. She and Gilbert started having problems and divorced in 1989. She had a brief fling with Prichard and then dated football player Bill Fralic.

She went back to Jim Crockett Promotions as a commentator and was one of the ones that stayed when it was purchased by Ted Turner and renamed World Championship Wrestling.

In her personal life, she met and dated Jason Hervey in 1991 and they stayed together until 1993, when she blames Hervey's friend Eric Bischoff for breaking them up.

In WCW, she had a brief feud with fellow commentator Paul E. Dangerously that saw her defeat him in an arm wrestling match at the Clash of Champions on January 30, 1991 after she removed her jacket to reveal her low cut top as the ref started the contest. She also had a gossip segment called "Missy does the Mail".

In 1992, she had a brief feud with Madusa that ended after Hyatt won a bikini contest at Beach Blast on June 20, 1992. Interestingly, Miceli was married briefly to Hyatt's former spouse Eddie Gilbert prior to his death in 1995.

In 1993, she had a small angle where she chased Ric Flair around for an exclusive interview and then got dumped the morning after by him. She was supposed to get revenge, but it got nixed for some reason. They had put her managing The Barbarian for about two weeks at this time.

She was next put as the manager for "The Nasty Boys", Jerry Sags and Brian Knobbs. She led them to the WCW Tag Team Titles and she fell out of her top accidentally in a match against Sting and Road Warrior Hawk. When she went to the WCW offices the next day, they had a blown up picture of it on the wall. She sued WCW for sexual harassment and quit wrestling to be a bartender in New York City.

She returned to wrestling in ECW in January 1996 after winning her lawsuit. She was part of a sexual harassment angle where she kissed Stevie Richards against his will and he filed a lawsuit. This angle ended and she managed Sandman in his feud with Raven and had many catfights with Sandman's wife, Lori. She says that around this time that she had to sleep with Sandman to break the sexual tension between them.

In September 1996, Sandman attacked her and she left the promotion. She worked various independent promotions and in 2001, she formed Wrestling Vixxxens, a porn site, with Tammy Lynn Sytch. She left the Vixxxens in 2004 and opened a site with her friend Francine that is supposed to be a reality site similar to reality shows.

She has filmed two "shoot interviews" for RF Video. One by herself at the end of 2000 and one with Tammy Sytch in 2001.
