Montreal West, Quebec

Montreal West (French: Montréal-Ouest) is a former city in southwestern Quebec, Canada on the Island of Montreal.

In 2002 it joined with Côte Saint-Luc and Hampstead as a borough of the City of Montreal. It has since voted to demerge and will re-established as a town on January 1, 2006.
