Mount Gravatt is a suburb of Brisbane. Mount Gravatt as a suburb is situated in the south-east of Bribane City, and is subdivided into Mt. Gravatt East, Upper Mt. Gravatt and Mt. Gravatt South, the latest being changed to Wishart in the early 1990s. As a whole, is one of the largest Brisbane suburbs. Mt. Gravatt is an important center for shopping and lifestyle outside of the Brisbane CBD, with award winning restaurants throughout and the State Netball Centre just minutes away from the Garden City Westfield.
The Mt Gravatt Showgrounds were an important centre for cultural and community activities and the site of the annual Mt Gravatt Show, an agricultural fair.
