Necho I (ca. 672 BC–664 BC) was governor of the Egyptian city of Sais. His rule lasted only two years as Necho I of the Twenty-sixth dynasty of Egypt, but before Egypt was reunified. He is primarily attested to in Assyrian documents. He was installed as ruler by Assurbanipal around 654 BC, but he may have ruled prior to this event.
