Order of Christ

A number of heraldic orders known as the Order of Christ. Among those are:

• Orders of Christ, Aviz and St. James — A branch of the Portuguese Order of Christ in the Empire of Brazil in the 1820s;
• Order of Christ (Portugal) — former Knights Templar Order awarded initially by the Kings of Portugal, now by the Portuguese state
• Order of Christ (papacy) — the Papal Order, a branch of the original Order, issued by popes.
