Palo santo

Palo santo (Spanish, "holy wood") is the common name of several tree species, including:
- Lignum vitae, of the family Zygophyllaceae, genus Guaiacum (G. officinale or G. sanctum), the national tree of The Bahamas.
- verawood genus Bulnesia of the family Zygophyllaceae, typical of the Gran Chaco ecoregion of South America, and also known as vera and Paraguay lignum vitae.
- Bursera graveolens, of the family Burseraceae, also from the Gran Chaco.
