Pierrefitte-sur-Seine

Pierrefitte-sur-Seine is a commune of the Seine-Saint-Denis département and a suburb of Paris, located between Saint-Denis and the Val d'Oise département.

Mayor : Catherine Hanriot (PCF : French Communist Party).

In March 2004 the French President, Jacques Chirac, announced that a new complex housing the French National Archives would be built in the south of Pierrefitte, close to Saint-Denis - Université station on Line 13 of the Paris Métro.

The town is twinned with Braintree (UK) and Rüdersdorf bei Berlin (Germany).
