Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek International Airport (IATA Airport Code: BSB), is Brasília's main international airport. With an terminal capable of handling more than 9 million annual passengers, the airport it is one of the most modern Brazilian airports. The airport equipped with a runway 11/29 3.200 x 45 m long.
It is controlled by Infraero, and it is named after the former Brazilian President Juscelino Kubitschek. The airport handled 6.8 million passengers in 2003, being the 3rd most movimented Brazilian airport of the year, just behind the two main Sao Paulo's airports, Congonhas and Cumbica.
Infraero is planning to open a second runway somewhere around 2008.
