Protogynous
From Freepedia
Protogynous animals are sequential hermaphrodites, where that animal is first biologically female, having only female sexual organs, then changes to be biologically male. The word itself is Greek meaning 'first female'. This process is typically irreversible. This trait is common in many fish and gastropod species. The opposite of protogynous animals are sequential hermaphrodites that start as males and then change to females, called protantrism.
