Province of Cagliari

Cagliari (It. Provincia di Cagliari) is a province in the autonomous island region of Sardinia in Italy. Its capital is the city of Cagliari.

It has an area of 6,895 sq km, and a total population of 760,311 (2001). There are 109 communes in the province (source: Italian institute of statistics Istat, see this link).
