Province of Savona

Savona (It. Provincia di Savona) is a province in the Liguria region of Italy. Its capital is the city of Savona.

It has an area of 1,545 sq km, and a total population of 272,528 (2001). There are 69 communes in the province (source: Italian institute of statistics Istat, see this link).
