Puumala

Puumala is a municipality of Finland.

It is located in the province of Eastern Finland and is part of the Southern Savonia region. The municipality has a population of 2,867 (2003) and covers an area of 1,237.92 km² of which 432.62 km² is water. The population density is 3.6 inhabitants per km².

The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
