The Rafflesiales are a order of holoparasitic plants. They are found mostly in the tropic area, with the Rafflesiaceae in Southeast Asia, Mitrastemonaceae in Central America, while the other two families are more widespread.

While the Apodanthaceae have flowers on less than a centimeter diameter, the flowers of the Rafflesia are the largest flowers with diameters of more than one meter.

The order was first described by Daniel Oliver in 1895. The actual taxonomy standing is unclear, the APG listed them as oddment family.
