Randwick is a suburb in the City of Randwick in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia.
It lies in the 5 kilometres south-east of the Sydney central business district. The name Randwick comes from the village of Randwick in Gloucestershire, England, birthplace of the district's first mayor Simeon Henry Pearce.
