Repent America

Repent America (RA) is a Christian organization based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the United States. According to their website, RA
- "desires to be in the full WILL OF GOD and to adhere entirely to the teachings of the Bible. We have a passion to serve the Lord and are devoted to reaching the lost, so that they may be saved and come unto the knowledge of the Truth."
The group has been involved in some controversies, especially over their denunciation of homosexuality as a sin.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina (late summer of 2005), the group issued a press release urging prayer and help for the refugees, describing New Orleans as a "wicked city" for tolerating things such as the gay-oriented Southern Decadence, Girls Gone Wild video series and abortions, and expressing hope that "from the devastation may a city full of righteousness emerge."[1]
