Roadrunner Records is a record label, concentrating mainly on heavy metal music. The label was originally titled Roadracer Records. Roadrunner is distributed by the Universal Music Group through a share of the label owned by Island Def Jam.On October 11 Roadrunner Records released "Roadrunner United with 4 bands consisting of various band members from their roster. Each band had a captain, which are as follows: Joey Jordison (Slipknot), Matt Heafy (Trivium), Dino Cazares (Fear Factory) and Robert Flynn (Machine Head). October 12 marked the label's first #1 record, Nickelback - "All The Right Reasons."
