Santarém is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 560.0 km² and a total population of 64,020 inhabitants.

The municipality is composed of 28 parishes, and is located in the district of Santarém.

The present Mayor is Rui Pedro Sousa Barreiro (Socialist) and the President of the Municipal Assembly is José Miguel Noras (Socialist).
