Scared Weird Little Guys are an Australian comedy band, comprised of John Chaplin-Fleming and Rusty Berther, who met in late 1987. John joined an a capella group called "Four Chairs No Waiting", along with Rusty Berther, David Holmes, and Ramsey Collins. They did a Fairstar cruise and toured RSL clubs around Sydney. 1989 saw Rusty and John join Australia's top a capella group "The Phones", with Paul Keelan, Michael Dalton and the much respected singer and arranger Reg Ellery. "The Phones" performed regularly at comedy and cabaret venues around Australia, holding a regular TV spot on Channel 7's Bert Newton Show. The group finally broke up at the end on 1990 and John and Rusty moved away from a capella and into hilarious songs.

They have done many gigs around Australia and have also toured in North America.
