Shin Matsunaga

A fictional character from the Universal Century timeline of the anime Gundam metaseries.

In the Mobile Suit Gundam fictional world, Shin Matsunaga was an Zeon ace pilot during the One Year War. When his talent was reconized, his moblie suit was painted white, thus giving him the nickname; The White Wolf. Some may know him as the White Wolf of Solomon, though he was not at Solomon when the battle occurred. For much of the war, however, Shin operated out of Solomon, often serving as the bodyguard of Vice Admiral Dozle Zabi, whom he greatly revered, during the Admiral's frontline inspections. His mobile suits included a Zaku II, Gelgoog Jager, and a Gyan (which was never used). At all his battles, Shin's battle manuvers were nothing less than brilliant. His enemies saw nothing but a white blur before their doom. It is not recorded when or where Shin died, but the name White Wolf is synonymous with honor, and it will live on in the minds of his friends and foes alike.
