Southern Cone

The term Southern Cone (Cono Sur or "Cone Sul") refers to the southernmost areas of South America. Typically, it refers to Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay and Southeastern Brazil. The main languages spoken are Spanish and Portuguese, and the autochthonous Aymara, Quechua and Guaraní.
