Species Plantarum

Writing the Species Plantarum was one of Carolus Linnaeus' two great contributions to the Scientific community. Species Plantarum was written in 1753. The book brought order to the chaos of naming species. The other great contribution of Linnaeus was the idea of binomial nomenclature.
