St Ives, New South Wales

St Ives is a suburb in northern Sydney, Australia, part of the North Shore and 16 kilometers north of the CBD.
It is part of the Ku-ring-gai Local Government Area. St Ives is home to the St Ives Shopping Village which is a small shopping centre.
St Ives is also home to populations of people of Jewish and South African backgrounds some of whom attend the school Masada College.
Georgie Parker is from St Ives. Famous Australian TV personality Andrew Denton also grew up in St Ives, following his family's Jewish traditions. The legendary Sydney Grammar School has a preparatory school in St Ives that teaches primary school children.
Other schools in St Ives are St Ives Primary School, St Ives Park School and St Ives North Public School. St Ives is also home to the Catholic primary school, Corpus Christi, and the Catholic girl's college, Brigidine.
It was once known for its apple orchard but residential demand, there is no longer that much of it now.
