Sultanbeyli

Sultanbeyli is a working class suburb of Istanbul, Turkey on the Asian side of the city.

Much of the housing in this area is of very poor quality -some being illegally built-thus creating genuine concern due to Istanbul's being in an earthquake zone.

Many of the residents of Sultanbeyli are working class people who have recently migrated to Istanbul from Anatolia.

Most work for factories in the area or in small businesses.
