Swedish Wikipedia

From Freepedia

The Swedish Wikipedia is the Swedish language edition of Wikipedia. It was the third edition of Wikipedia, started in May 2001 alongside German Wikipedia, after English Wikipedia and Catalan Wikipedia. It is the sixth-largest Wikipedia by article-count (after the English, German, French, Japanese and Polish editions) reaching 105,000 articles on September 18, 2005. However, compared to other large Wikis, a decidedly larger percentage of the articles on the Swedish Wikipedia are stubs.

Since Swedish is mutually intelligible with Danish and Norwegian, administrators of the site collaborate with those at the respective Wikipedias through the Skanwiki section of the Wikimedia Meta-Wiki site.
