Tarrafal de São Nicolau

Tarrafal de São Nicolau is a parish in the western part of the municipality and the island of São Nicolau. Until 2005, was constituted as a municipality that coverede the western part of the island of São Nicolau. The old municipal boundary was bounded by Monte Gordo to the north, a mountain rance fo the northeast and to the north.
