Technology (as in Information Technology strategy explains how information technology is being deployed in response to business strategy. The document usually covers somewhere between three and 5 years into the future.

Template for Technology Strategy

A strategy document is often a short (less than 30 pages) narative supported by extracts from the more detailed Enterprise Architecture models:

- High-level view of Business Strategy. Often expressed using parts of the Business Architecture model.

- High-level view of Logical Architecture of information technology systems

- High-level view of Physical Architecturel of information technology systems

- High-level delivery plan for major delivery programmes
