The Prizefighter and the Lady is a 1933 MGM crime romance comedy starring Myrna Loy, Max Baer, Primo Carnera, Jack Dempsey, and Walter Huston.
Directed by W.S. VanDyke and Howard Hawks, it was adapted for the screen by John Lee Mahin and John Meehan, from the story by Frances Marion.
It received an Academy Award nomination for Best Writing, Original Story (Frances Marion).
