The Raw Story

The Raw Story (often shortened to Rawsto) is a progressive Internet news publicaion founded by John K. Byrne and later joined by Larisa Alexandrovna.

Rawsto, considered by mainstream news reporters to be highly credible and well sourced, is known primarily for its investigative reporting, but also provides hourly updates of news gathered from around the globe. The duo of Byrne and Alexandrovna (who is known as LaLa in the blogosphere) have produced extensive original pieces and have cultivated a large readership.

In addition to regular news updates, feature pieces, and original reporting, Rawsto columns, edited by Avery Walker, are a fun and sometimes hard-hitting read.
