Tim McCanlies is a movie director and writer. He was born in 1953, and is now getting a lot of attention for his writing and directing of the film "Secondhand Lions." He was also involved in "A Spell for Chameleon," "Smallville" (TV Series), the screenplay for "The Iron Giant," and "Dennis the Menace Strikes Again!"
