Times Square (Hong Kong)

Image:Time square HK.JPG Image:Time square HK taxi rank in rainyday.JPG Times Square (Chinese: 時代廣場) is a shopping centre and office tower complex in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. The shopping centre is popular among teenagers, and also features a movie theatre. The area surrounding the building is a popular venue for New Year countdowns, just like Times Square in New York City.

The complex was opened in April 1994, and is owned by Wharf Properties Limited, part of The Wharf (Holdings) Limited group. The site was previously occupied by the original tram depot of the Hong Kong Tramways, another of the Wharf's subsidiary operations.

Times Square is served by the MTR's Causeway Bay station.
