Career
Tom Boric was originally a professional soccer player for the Tampa Bay Rowdies. He started wrestling as Paul Diamond in 1984 in the Texas All-Star Wrestling promotion in San Antonio, Texas. He formed a tag team called "The American Breed" with Nick Kiniski and then a more successful team called "American Force" with Shawn Michaels.
In 1986, he went to Mid-Southern Wrestling and formed a successfual team called Badd Company with Pat Tanaka. They won several tag team titles while there and moved on the American Wrestling Association in late 1987. They were put with manager Diamond Dallas Page and his Diamond Dolls and won the AWA World Tag Team Championship and held them for over a year. Among their feuds were The Midnight Rockers, Chavo and Mando Guerrero and the team of Ken Patera and Brad Rheingans.
Upon losing their titles in 1989, they left DDP and the AWA for the World Wrestling Federation in early 1990. They were managed by Mr. Fuji, Diamond was put under a mask and called "Kato", replacing Akio Sato, who retired from wrestlling in the US. They were known in the WWF as The Orient Express rather than Badd Company. They did not achieve the success that they had in the AWA, primarily feuded with teams like The Bushwackers.
Diamond then became "Max Moon" but still had no success in the WWF. He soon left the company and wrestled in the independents.
He retired in 2001 to open a wrestling school called "Paul Diamond Hard Knocks Pro Wrestling Academy". He also runs Rocket City Wrestling in Huntsville, Alabama.
