Tony Whitford

The Honourable Tony Whitford (Born: 1941-) is the current Commissioner of the Northwest Territories. He has been Commissioner since April 29, 2005.

He was the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Kam Lake and the speaker of the assembly, his win in 1999 topped 80% of the vote. In October 2004 he became deputy commissioner of the Northwest Territories.
