Torrena

The Torrena is a 336.5 m high tower of telecommunications and entertainment that is being built since the spring, of 2005 in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

The Torrena is being constructed in the municipality of Zapopan in an area of 17,720 m², right next to the Plaza del Sol shopping mall, and is expected to be finished by 2007. It will be the twenty fourth highest tower in the world and the highest In Latin America. It will include banks, coffee and souvenir shops and two restaurants (one of them with a revolving floor), among other spaces destined to entertainment and telecommunications.
