Tower Hill School is a small private preparatory school located at 2813 West 17th Street in Wilmington, Delaware offering instruction for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. It has a strong academic reputation; particularly strong are the English and History departments, while those relating to the sciences tend to lag somewhat. Its graduates are generally admitted to the best colleges and universities in the nation.
The girl's tennis, field hockey, track, and lacrosse teams are considered strong, and often win state titles. The boys' teams, with the exception of lacrosse and track, have a less stellar record, often losing to the larger public schools in the area.
Tower Hill was founded in 1918, and was originally committed to progressive education methods.
The school motto is Multa bene facta, "Many things done well".
