Town Hall is a major underground railway station in inner Sydney, Australia, 1.2 km from Central. It opened on 28 February 1932. Town Hall has two levels, each with three platforms. The station has lifts connecting the concourse with the platforms, providing Easy Access for wheelchairs.
The station services the CityRail trains of three lines: the North Shore, the Eastern Suburbs line and the City Circle. There is no junction between these lines at Town Hall.
There are underground pedestrian links from the station to Queen Victoria Building, Pitt Street Mall and other major shops. Town Hall is adjacent to the Sydney Town Hall. It is within reasonable walking distance of Darling Harbour.
