Towrang, New South Wales
Towrang is a town approximately 13kms before Goulburn on the Hume Highway 180kms south from Sydney. The town was setup in the 1800's, early in the European settlement of New South Wales The area was once a large producer of fruit for the Sydney market. The railway station was one of the busiest in the state but was removed in the 1970's after the Goulburn outgrew Towrang & fruit production declined.
