Toxic Substances Control Act

The Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) is a United States law, passed in 1976, that regulates the introduction of new chemicals. It is grandfathered in existing chemicals, in contrast to REACH, a proposed regulation currently (as of 2004) under discussion in the European Union.
