Timişoara "Traian Vuia" International is Romania's second airport in terms of air traffic, after Bucharest Henri Coanda. It is located in Timişoara, western Romania, in historical region of Banat, near the Hungarian and Serbian border. It has the biggest annual growing rate in terms of passenger traffic among Romanian airports (over 20%), and it is expected to reach the first million passengers in the following years.
