Transpadane Republic

Image:Flag of the Repubblica Transpadana.PNG The Transpadane Republic (Italian: Repubblica Transpadana) was a French client republic in Northern Italy that lasted from 1796 to 17 July 1797. It comprised the territory of Lombardy, and ceased to exist by being merged with the Cispadane Republic to form the Cisalpine Republic.
